Learn to create the perfect layered cake finished off with a striped buttercream effect and coloured ganache drip! A cake like this doesn't have to be difficult if you have the right tools and information! This class is recommended for novice bakers (Level 2 - intermediate)

In this class, Lindsay will be covering everything you need to know about baking cake layers, mixing up buttercream, using an icing comb to create buttercream stripes, and perfecting your ganache drip. This class is meant for bakers who are looking to improve their current cake decorating skills. Here are some topics we will cover in depth during this 2+ hour class:

• A recipe for chocolate cake layers
• A recipe for a vanilla spooky "goo" filling
• Tips for baking the perfect cake layers
• Prepare an easy to make buttercream recipe
• Tips and tricks for colouring and flavouring buttercream to beautiful vibrant shades
• Overview of my favourite supplies/ingredients/tools to use for cakes 
  
• Adding filling to layered cakes
• Use of an icing comb to create the striped buttercream effect
• How to prepare the perfect consistency ganache drip
• Create and add decorations for a finishing touch

The class will take place live in a private Facebook group Saturday October 16th 2021 at 1pm EST. An email will be sent with the private group link within 48 hours of registration to the email used during checkout. Class content in PDF format will be made available 2 weeks prior to the live session in the Facebook group. The session will be recorded and saved for future reference for any class members who are not able to attend live.
