1. Do you ship internationally?
Yes! At this time, we ship internationally to most countries. Please feel free to send us a message if you are unsure if we ship to your country.
2. It doesn't say how long it will take to deliver my order before I buy it?
Depending on which warehouse your order is shipped from, it could take around 15 business days to arrive to you. Sprinkles will always be shipped out of our Toronto Warehouse.
If shipped out of our Toronto Warehouse it could take 1-2 weeks to deliver to an address within North America from when the order is shipped. Delays do happen with USPS/Canada Post and their have been instances where it took 3-4 weeks to deliver but, as long as there has been an update on your tracking link within 7 business days, it is likely not lost and just delayed. Email email@example.com with any questions/concerns so we can look into it.
If you place an order containing the big cake turntable it will be shipped from the Overseas Warehouse and take a bit longer to arrive to you (around 25 normal days).
If the Toronto Warehouse is out of stock on 1 item from your order, the entire order (except sprinkles in your order) will then be shipped out of the Overseas Warehouse to save shipping time while we restock the Toronto Warehouse!
If your order is shipped from our Overseas Warehouse it will generally arrive within 15 normal days but occasionally there will be long customs delays causing an order to arrive a bit later. Please be patient if this happens as we can only wait until it clears customs and can't speed up this process!
Orders placed from countries outside of North America will be shipped from this warehouse. As long as there has been an update on your tracking link within 7 business days, it is likely not lost and just delayed. Email firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions/concerns so we can look into it.
3. Where are you located?
We are based out of Toronto, Ontario, Canada! Some of our items are made and shipped out of Toronto, however most products are made and shipped by our manufacturers in China. We only operate through our website and do not have a physical store where items can be purchased.
4. Are the prices in American or Canadian dollars?
All prices are in US dollars (USD).
Although we are based in Toronto, Canada, we do all of our transactions with our manufacturers and shopify in USD so it is easier for us to work in a single currency. The currency is also stated in the grand total at checkout, before and after the payment is processed.
5. How do I pay for my order?
We accept multiple forms of payment including Visa, Paypal, Amex, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Mastercard, and Shopify Pay.
6. The item I wanted is out of stock. Will you be restocking?
It depends. For the main items on our shop, we continuously monitor our inventory to ensure that we have enough stock on a regular basis. For seasonal items, we may not be able to restock our shop in time for you to receive your items before the holiday passes. For some items, we run a preorder style of shopping. This way, we can order each item to be specially made just for you. We will run preorders continuously so we can assure that you will get your hands on Flour Girl merch asap!
7. The items I received were defected/incorrect. How can I make a return/exchange?
8. My discount did not apply at checkout. What can I do?
If items were already listed as sale items, discount codes cannot be applied for further discount. In other cases, please email us here to let us know what happened so we can assist you further!
9. What makes your baking collection better than others?
As a baker, each item has been sampled and tested over and over by The Flour Girl to ensure they meet quality standards, are easy to use, functional, reusable, durable AND that reflect a fun and modern aesthetic. Materials for each item have been selected to ensure they are made to last. While there are many great brands out there for baking tools, you are also supporting a small business when you make a purchase from us!
