Cookies are a  very traditional family activity when it comes to Christmas time! If you've ever attempted decorating with royal icing, you know it's not as easy as it looks. It's all about the icing consistency! ? Fear no more, Lindsay can show you the way with our new Christmas Sugar Cookies 101 Class!

In this class, Lindsay will be covering everything you need to know about baking no-spread sugar cookies, making royal icing, getting your icing consistency just right, colouring your icing, and multiple different decorating techniques that are beginner-friendly! This class is meant for bakers who are looking to learn or improve their sugar cookie skills or first-timers wanting to get started. Here are some topics we will cover in depth during this 2.5-hour class:

• Preparing a no-spread vanilla sugar cookie dough recipe
• Making royal icing and achieving the correct consistencies
  
• Properly colouring your royal icing
• Outlining and flooding cookies
  
• Various beginner-friendly techniques using royal icing
  
• Information about drying and storing cookies
  
• Creating and adding decorations for a finishing touch

The class is prerecorded in a private Facebook group. An email will be sent with the private group link within 48 hours of registration to the email used during checkout. If your Facebook account name does not match your registration name we will need to know (email us help@shoptheflourgirl.com) so you can be added to the class. Please allow an additional 48 hours to allow us to verify your Facebook request.

Class content in PDF format will be made available 2 weeks prior to the live session in the Facebook group. The session will be recorded and saved for future reference for any class members who are not able to attend live.
